In times like these it is always important, regardless of religion, race, or economic status, that we come together and comfort each other. I read an article that said to an effect that we did not just lose members of society but they were our children as well, our sisters, and it’s their family (our family) that is mourning for the loss of their loved ones.
It is never easy to deal with devastating loses like these and that is why prayer is significant.
People who didn’t believe in prayer once, are praying now because it’s the only hope and comfort some people have about the shooting itself. What I ask from this post today is that anyone who reads this will continue to lift up the families that lost their loved ones in this horrible shooting in prayer and continue to pour out your love to them so that they know that they are not going through this alone because we are with them every step of the way.
These precious children were gone too soon but they are now looking down upon their families and loved ones from above and for some that is great comfort.
As funeral services continue on for the victims please continue to support and encourage in any way you can. Times are hard but at the end of the day, all the people have are each other. Society is just another fancy word for family. And as a family, a community, we will never forget the precious souls that passed on to a better life .
R.I.P to the Sandy Hook Elementary Victims. God Bless us all!
